Here is what she shares about her entire journey at G-Cube:
Q1. Share your journey at G-Cube with us?
I have risen through the ranks at G-Cube. I have worked through so many roles in the system, and the diversification of roles helps me to understand the nuances and challenges of every situation that further broadens my vision to work efficiently and better.
Q2. What challenges were faced by you while working with G-Cube and how you overcome them?
Challenges provide the platform to a person to become better. These are directly proportional to growth. Every project comes with its problems that need a clear vision, documentation, discussions and finally a solution. Even failed chances teach you something if one wants to learn and not take the easier way out to criticize.
Q3. Tell us about a time when things didn’t go the way you wanted– like a new Business /new Client/Promotion you wanted and didn’t get, or a project that didn’t turn out how you had hoped?
Long time back when I had rejoined office after my maternity leaves, my role was changed to Project Manager from the earlier Coordinator. I had then a new client who was very demanding in terms of TAT, quality, and deliverables. I learned how to manage all these ‘New’ things in my life. It was tough, but I prevailed with my team’s and the management’s support and guidance. Only because of them I have reached where I am and dream of making G-Cube even bigger. So BIG THANKS TO EACH ONE OF YOU!
Q4. Who is your role model and why?
There are so many people around who inspire me, my father for his strength, my husband for his will-power, my mother for her kindness, my brother for his aggression, my sister for her flexibility and many of my colleagues for their hunger and strive to be better than earlier and the drive to continually evolve. I do not have a single role-model, but I am always impressed with people who have a clear focus and dedication.
Q5. How do you maintain work-life balance and what do you work towards in your free time?
I have adapted to my current lifestyle. Work life balance is not limited to spending 9:00 – 6:00 in office and then home. Now it’s more towards what is more important for that moment. I take a reasonable call. I like reading blogs and watching movies. I love talking to my son especially when he cooks up stories to impress me.
Q6. What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about success, but it doesn’t mean that I can’t handle failures.
Q7. A day in G-Cube when you felt delighted?
I feel happy when people around me are happy, especially my team members. I feel delighted when I see them happily working together, like a family who stands together in every situation.
Q8. What advice would you give to the fellow G-Cubians?
Create your own experiences and do not judge others based on their experiences. Every situation has multiple angles and infinite solutions. Never give up when the odds seem stacked against you. You shall prevail if and only if you do not give up.
