  1. How are the last two bullets accomplished? How is reading a book tracked? How is watching a video on YouTube tracked? How are social sites tracked? YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. do not automatically send data to the customers' Learning Record Store (LRS), do they?

    If someone has to manually key this data in, doesn't that defeat the purpose? Many Learning Management Systems have had capability to easily track that activity for 10 years, assuming someone manually keys it in.
