G-Cubians celebrated Mango Festival with full enthusiasm and spirit on 30th May 2009. This was an inter-departmental festival. The entire G-Cube was broadly divided into five teams and each team wore a color dress code.
The festival started with ‘Let’s Check the Appetite’ game wherein the representative of each team had to eat maximum mangoes in 3 minutes. One participant had to peel off the mango with hands and help the other person to eat. The winner team ate 12 mangoes in 3 minutes!! What an appetite Ankit Kumar had!!!
The next game on the list was ‘Main Hoon Kaun’. We had different varieties of Mangoes and a representative of each team had to guess the Variety. It was quite a fun to watch team members raking their brains to identify different mango types.
The best part of the festival was ‘The Mango Quiz’ as all teams showed their competitive spirit and gave their best to win accolades for their teams.
Another highlight of the program was the intense hooting and cut-throat competitive spirit amongst Corporate Team and the rest of the teams (clubbed together) in all the competitions. The most pictured image herein was of Puneeta who cheered the loudest for her team members.
Finally we all got so much exhausted that we were sapped out of our strength. In order to re-energize our weary bodies we greedily hogged on the snacks and culminated the fun summer festival.
