The Organization

Keeping in mind the ever-increasing need to train professionals in communication skills, Communispond provides training related to presentation and business communications for sales, management, and individual development. Since 1969, Communispond has helped over 600,000 client associates – including CEOs, board chairs, sales leaders, sports, media, and political figures – to achieve business goals by communicating with clarity and power.

The Business Challenge
It was observed that the classroom-only approach had its own limitations – including low retention rates and lesser reach. Communispond realized that despite the evident success that the classroom sessions generate, continual re-enforcements of training are imperative for effective application of the acquired skill in the workplace. They also found that continuing re-enforcement in the classroom format has logistical barriers.

The Learners that enrolls with Communispond for trainings are professionals with very busy schedules of their own. Thus the training re-enforcements must be available to the learners – when they want it, wherever they need it and whichever mode they prefer – be it while they are travelling and have no time to spare or just before moving in for an important presentation to the board. Also, the time for re-enforcement training must be of small durations and cover only the gist of the topic.

The Solution
Communispond and G-Cube decided to develop an e-Learning solution that would transform the Classroom only paradigm to Blended Learning approach for trainings.

Thus G-Cube and Communispond created an online/on-demand library of modules called LearnTO™ that extends and expands the Communispond experience beyond the walls of the classroom. Short bursts of learning – not more that 3-9 minutes – target the real-time need of the learner for a refresher.

The LearnTO™ library leverages the strengths of technology – that of easier, faster internet accessibility and portable devices for accessing learning material.

The library can be accessed through a desktop computer or laptop, at home or office, and even while travelling, through smart-phones and other handhelds. The classroom training is thus re-iterated, enhanced, and re-enforced to create a learning experience that best benefits the learner.

Main Features of the Solution

  • The LearnTo Library is based on the G-Cube’s proprietary WiZDOM LMS.
  • The library consists of more than 30 modules and over 50 podcasts, with more on the way.
  • The Library can be accessed through multiple platforms – Desktop, Laptop and Smartphones.
  • The Library comes with the unique ‘WiZDOM-with the coach’ support. This is an online support where learners can interact with experts through the LMS and get answer to their queries.
