G-Cube, a leader in innovative e-learning, won a coveted Brandon Hall gold award for excellence in the Social Learning category. G-Cube’s win was announced on January 25th 2012. A panel of veteran, independent senior judges evaluated the entries along with Brandon Hall Group’s industry expert analysts and leadership.
The award was received for our innovative social learning platform – Learn@FB. This is an application designed for Facebook users to access and complete a variety of e-courses. All that one needs to do is log-on and browse through a rich array of learning courses – from Soft-Skills trainings and Personality Development programs to Cookery and Dance. The users can then choose what they like, request access and go through a completely new learning experience. The courses are hosted on our robust learning management system Wizdom LMS, which keeps track of the courses that the user chooses, requests and completes. Based on this information, the user is awarded points – not only providing a sense of achievement, but these points can be further redeemed in lieu of other courses in future. Users can ‘like’ a course or recommend it to friends and other group members. Learn@FB aims at building a learning community which will bring like-minded learners together in their tryst for knowledge.
