In today’s modern scenario, e-learning is at the verge of transforming the entire digital landscape for Banking & Finance sector. With ever-evolving needs of modern learners, organizations experience a continuous need to train their workforce on new processes, soft skills, business strategies and more.
The banking personnel comprise of a wide spectrum of people who come from diverse backgrounds, holding different skills and experiences. One of the major challenges for the banking industry was to design and deliver custom e-learning solutions that cater to the needs of employees from different demographics. Asking learners to go for trainings was not an optimal solution, as it resulted in huge investments on time and costs. To meet this challenge, we adopted pre-learning approach where bite-sized content was created and delivered in the form of infographics, videos and animations. Another solution was to provide them with blended or co-learning solution where employees attended the program for two days, based on their varied work profiles, geographical locations and departments. So, the prime aim behind all this was to train the huge network of banking employees through a common learning platform. Further, we also provided a solution to provide assessments for the employees who undergo training program, thereby tracking their individual workplace performances. For those who did not clear the assessment, we gave them focused modules on the particular sections that they did not clear, without any need to start from the scratch. They could simply access the course, take that bite-sized module again and complete the assessment.
