G-Cube announces the win of two awards at the National Award for Excellence in Training & Development 2016, hosted by the World HRD Congress. The World HRD Congress hosts a number of awards that recognize inspiring and innovative solutions in the field of education and training in India.
At the National Award for Excellence in Training and Development, G-Cube won in two categories– Best training initiative for automobile industry and Best sales development programme.
In the category of Best Training for Automobile Industry, G-Cube showcased an innovative training solution created for Maruti Suzuki India Limited. G-Cube created a Spaced Learning Program to re-enforce classroom and e-learning efforts. Spaced learning is a methodology where learning is completed through multiple sessions over a longer period of time, thereby leading to more time for retention. The repetitive methodology encourages the learners’ brains to perceive the information as ‘important’ and helps remember it for long. We created a variety of learning materials, including email refreshers, short games, as well as a series of short videos and animations which are pleasing to the eye and deliver learning effectively.

To meet the challenge of training the huge workforce and to develop a new learning culture in the organization, we have adopted technology-aided learning. The Spaced Learning Program is an exciting delivery mechanism that makes learning much more palatable and interesting. The refreshers have been extremely popular among all users in the time-period of just a few months from its launch. G-Cube also showcased an IVR based sales development program for leading FMCG Company in India– Hindustan Unilever. This IVR-based system is the first of its kind experience for the sales team at HUL. It created a way to continuously learn and assess even from remote locations where internet connectivity or access to computers is limited. The assessment questions asked were pertaining to the everyday work of the sales personnel, and challenged them to think on their toes. The technology-aided platform was new to them, but since all that they needed to do was call a toll-free number, the learning solution was hugely popular.
