Brandon Hall Excellence Awards 2016

Brandon Hall 2016

G-Cube, a global leader in innovative e-Learning, garnered a remarkable achievement by winning three awards in Brandon Hall’s Learning and Development Awards 2016. The winners are listed at Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Excellence Awards Program.

G-Cube received the highly coveted awards in three categories– Best Program for Sales Training and Performance, Best Use of Blended Learning, and Best Use of Video for Learning.

For the category of Best Program for Sales Training and Performance, G-Cube showcased an IVR-based assessment system created for the sales team of Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL). It created a way to continuously learn and assess, even from remote locations with limited computer access or internet connectivity. The assessment questions asked were pertaining to the everyday work of the sales personnel, and challenged and kept them on their toes. The technology-aided platform was new to them, but since all that they had to do was call a toll-free number, the learning solution was quite popular.

In the category of Best Use of Blended Learning, G-Cube won the award for a Spaced Learning Program, created to re-enforce classroom and e-learning efforts in Maruti Suzuki India Limited. With the implementation of the program, the time devoted to imparting the information was divided into smaller learning chunks. These chunks were then distributed across several days or weeks. This repetitive methodology encouraged the learners to perceive the information as ‘important’ and helped them to remember it for long.

Finally, in the category of Best Use of Video for Learning, G-Cube showcased yet another innovative course, an induction program developed for Aditya Birla Finance Limited. The course was a self-paced WBT (web-based training), where five organizational values of ABFL were illustrated through a series of short videos showcasing the many virtues of adopting them.

Manish Gupta, CEO of G-Cube, celebrated this achievement by saying, ‘The Brandon Hall Awards is one of the most prestigious awards in the industry, and it’s a proud day for G-Cube to have won in all the three categories in which we participated this year. It reinforces our conviction, and belief in the strength of technology in learning. Bestowed with these honors, we will continue with our passion to innovate and excel in all that we do.’
