India/NOIDA: G-Cube announced that it has won the Global e-Learning Award for 2012 in the category of Best Use of Mobile Technology. In its annual Global e-Learning Awards, World Education Congress recognizes the most inspiring and innovative solutions that enable the delivery of education and training.
The awards were given during the World Education Congress – 2012 ceremony held in Mumbai during 29th June to 30th June 2012. The event was attended by eminent educationists from about 100 countries across the world.
G-Cube showcased the LearnTo Library, a mobile-compatible course library to enhance communication training. Developed for one of its clients in the United States, this solution uses mobile technology to provide learning reinforcements to the learner. The library consists of more than 30 short e-Learning modules and 50 podcasts, which the learner can access as a refresher to the courses taught in class. In addition to attractive visuals, each module has a clear audio voice-over, which makes sure that the learner can simply listen to the module and gain instant support. Apart from being accessible through mobile phones, the library can also be accessed through a desktop or laptop. The learners can gain instant access to the library, whether at home or while travelling.
